How to report an app hosted on the lemon network, what happens to the report, and how a developer contests a decision.
Send abuse notices to
abuse@lemonhub.cloud
Or file one directly — no account required:
POST /abuse. The address a given deployment publishes is the one
returned by GET /abuse/policy.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
name | Who is reporting. |
contact | An address we can reply to. A notice we cannot answer cannot be processed. |
app | The app the notice is about. |
category | copyright · malware · illegal · phishing · spam · other |
statement | The claim itself: what is wrong, and where. |
attested | Your statement that the notice is accurate and made in good faith. |
curl -X POST https://lemonhub.cloud/abuse \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"name":"Ada Lovelace","contact":"ada@example.com",
"app":"some-app","category":"copyright",
"statement":"...","attested":true}'
Or from the CLI:
lemon abuse report --app <app> --name "…" --contact … --statement "…" --attest
ab-…).File a counter-notice against the report id you were sent:
lemon abuse counter --report ab-7 --statement "..."
POST /abuse/ab-7/counter {"statement": "..."}
Every notice carries an attestation. Notices that are repeatedly inaccurate or filed in bad faith are dismissed on the record and the reporter may be rate-limited or refused. Filing is rate-limited per reporter in any case.
lemon provides coordination software and a marketplace, not the hosted apps. It does not review, endorse or warrant what developers run. This process is how a notice about a hosted app is received and acted on; it does not make lemon the author or publisher of that app.
